Plenty of AI ideas, little certainty

In many SMEs, staff already use AI tools, often without any agreement on what is and is not allowed. This AI use without agreements, sometimes called shadow AI, is understandable: the tools are free and handy.

Meanwhile, vendors arrive every week with a new tool and a new promise. For management, the question stays open: where does AI really pay off for us, which risks are we already running, and what do we do first? An AI audit gives a well-founded answer.

What we examine

Processes and lost time

Where does most of the time go, and which work keeps coming back? We map the processes that gain most from running faster or better.

Current AI use in your team

Which AI tools do your staff already use, for what and with which data? Without judgement, so you know where you stand today.

Data and systems

Which data and tools do you have, and are they usable for AI? Where are the connections, and where are the gaps?

Risks: privacy, GDPR and the AI Act

Among other things, the AI Act requires that people know when they are talking to AI, and that staff working with AI know enough about it. The audit maps your obligations. It is not legal advice.

Opportunities and expected return

Where does AI save time or money, and what does it take to get there? Every opportunity gets an estimate of value and feasibility.

If the same questions cost your team a lot of time, a multilingual AI assistant is often the first step.

  • Path 2

    Automating a process

If the lost time sits in retyping, follow-up or reporting, business automation tackles one workflow at a time.

  • Path 3

Sometimes a bigger choice has to be made first. Then strategy and economics helps you make it on solid ground.

Frequently asked questions about the AI audit

How long does an AI audit take?

About three weeks, from the kick-off to the review of the report. We agree the exact schedule in the proposal, depending on how quickly we can speak to the right people. The audit asks about 4 hours of your team. You can see how that works in the four steps.

What does an AI audit cost?

For SMEs the AI audit costs €1,950 excl. VAT, as a fixed price. For local governments we prepare a tailored quote, because the scope varies widely. You know in advance what you pay, and after the audit you are under no obligation to continue with us. See what you receive.

Do we need to use AI already to have an audit?

No. The audit is most useful when you do not yet know where to start. We look at your processes, your data and the places where AI can save time or money. If your team already uses AI tools, we take that into account, so you also know which agreements are needed.

Who in our team needs to take part?

Someone from management for the kick-off and the review, and a few staff who do the work every day, for short interviews. Together that is about 4 hours. We also ask for insight into your tools and processes, as much as needed and no more.

Does the audit help us with the AI Act?

Yes, as a first step. The audit maps which obligations apply to you, such as transparency when people talk to AI and sufficient AI knowledge among your staff. You receive a risk register with actions. It is not legal advice: for a legal opinion, it is best to involve a lawyer.

How does it differ from a business diagnosis?

The AI audit answers AI questions: where AI helps, which risks exist, what to do first. The business diagnosis answers growth questions: why is the business not growing as expected? If it turns out during the work that the real problem lies on the other side, we tell you.
